Quick Festive Ground Meat Skillet

"This is great as a main dish, a dip, or on tortillas! My whole family loves this and it's great for pitch-in dinners too."

Ingredients :

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon garlic pepper seasoning
  • 1 (15 ounce) can corn, drained
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • shredded Cheddar cheese, or more to taste
  • 2 cups cooked rice, or to taste (optional)

Instructions :

Prep : 10M Cook : 4M Ready in : 25M
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef and garlic pepper in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease.
  • Stir corn, ranch dressing, salsa, and oregano into ground beef mixture; cook and stir until hot and bubbling, 5 to 10 minutes. Serve over cooked rice.

Notes :

  • For pitch-in dinners: Put the rice in the bottom of a baking dish with the meat mixture on top. Top with cheese and heat in oven for 10 minutes at 350 degrees (175 degrees C), until cheese melts.
  • Substitute ground chicken or turkey for the ground beef if desired. Sour cream can be substituted for the ranch dressing.
  • Reynolds® Aluminum foil can be used to keep food moist, cook it evenly, and make clean-up easier.
