Auntie's Chocolate Chip Cookies with Truvia® Baking Blend

"The classic temptation. This cookie has been a family favorite for generations. An easy-to-make version with 15% fewer calories and 60% less sugar than the full-sugar version."

Ingredients :

  • 1 1/8 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup Truvia® Baking Blend, plus
  • 2 tablespoons Truvia® Baking Blend
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tablespoon molasses* (optional)

Instructions :

Prep : 15M Cook : 15M Ready in : 26M
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Combine flour, salt and baking soda in a small bowl.
  • Beat butter, Truvia(R) Baking Blend and vanilla (and optional molasses) in a separate large mixing bowl. Mix in egg.
  • Gradually stir in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Drop rounded tablespoon on cookie sheets and press down to slightly flatten.
  • Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned.

Notes :

  • * Adding molasses will give cookies a darker color and richer flavor. This will affect nutritionals.
